In addition to the basic content, Witcher 3 offers many DLC add-ons. Except for the planned large expansions, all of them are free. The important thing about them is that they don't install automatically, you must download them separately. Below you will find a description of the whole process of adding the DLC to the game. It includes PC version (using the GOG.com platform) and PS4 version (PlayStation store).
Installation of free DLC add-ons to Witcher 3
Important: Not all planned DLC add-ons are available at the release date of the game. New skyrim ps4 mods. Some of them will be published later.
PC version (GOG.com)
Open the website http://www.gog.com and log in. Go to the Games tab and search (the picture above) for wild hunt phrase. On the result page, select the DLC program from the list: WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT, THE - FREE DLC PROGRAM (picture above).
Wait for a new card to open and add the DLCs to your cart. Then press the Checkout Now button and confirm your order. Of course, it's completely free.
PS4 version (PlayStation Store)
Open the website https://store.playstation.com and log in (use your PSN account). Write the phrase wild hunt in the search bar in the upper right corner of the screen (picture above). Wait for results to show and pick the first option, which is the main game.
Scroll the page to the bottom where you will find Add-Ons (screen above). Press See All so that you will see all currently available add-ons. Open the page of selected add-on and press the Add to Cart button. You can continue shopping (adding the rest DLCs to the cart) or press the button Show Cart. There you can finalize your transaction. As in case of PC, the whole operation is completely free of any charge.
Valve Software develops and manages 'Steam,' a digital distribution platform. Users purchase games through 'Steam,' which add to a library. Players install or delete games from their computers using 'Steam.' Many games now offer DLC, or Downloadable Content, which adds more content to a particular game. This DLC can be purchased from 'Steam' itself or from other sources. If you purchase the DLC from other sources, you manually add it to your 'Steam' game.
Locate your DLC key. If you purchased the key separately, from a retail or online store, your code may be printed on a card or on a receipt, or in an email. DLC keys are a series of letters and numbers that you can input into 'Steam' in order to gain access to more content in your games. For example, purchase the 'Elite Units of the East' DLC for 'Empire: Total War.' Keys for any product activated on 'Steam' must follow key guidelines established for each game. Keys not in these formats cannot be activated on 'Steam.'
Launch 'Steam.'
Click 'ADD A GAME' located in the lower left corner of the 'Steam' window. A small menu opens above this button.
Click 'Activate a Product on Steam.' Click 'Next.' Read the agreement and click 'I AGREE.'
Type in your product code in the 'Product Code' box as it appears on your receipt, card or email. If you received the code online, such as in an email, copy the code from its source and paste into the box.
Click 'Next,' which activates your DLC. The DLC will be automatically downloaded to the game in your games library, or automatically installed with the game if you have not yet installed the game.

If you purchased the DLC through 'Steam,' it will automatically be installed into your game. You do not need to manually install it.

Blood and Wine installed on Steam. Can't access content in-game.
I had the game installed previously and played up to the end of the prologue, with everything installed/enabled (DLC.) I stopped playing for a bit to play W1/W2 to catch up on the story. I came back to the game today, to find that I couldn't load up my save b/c it says that I'm missing the Blood and Wine DLC and a Quest DLC. In my Steam, I can see that it shows them as installed. And when I go into my folder directories I see the Blood and Wine content there; ../bob/content. (See photo 1.) Here's proof that my DLC is installed. (See photo 2,3.) I have verified my game files in Steam. I've restarted Steam. Neither works. Any ideas?
I understand that the DLC packs have been bundled as one package, but have to be installed separately (GOG). I have the GOG version, regional game extras have been cut off from the image (GOG Galaxy client page for the game).

'Buy' 'free DLC program' from GOG. Then download free DLC program from your GOG account page and install. If installed via GOG Galaxy after the main game entire Witcher 3 (~ 25 GB) will be downloaded again. Rome total war alexander mod.
